this hotel is so overrated. I had to suffer through my neighbors’ 2am chat and the restaurant's hours kept changing—so unprofessional. I almost gave a good review but was utterly appalled at the lack of complimentary perks, despite paying for an uncomfortable room. Oca Ipanema is just not worth it, not at all.

The room I stayed in had a lovely balcony that offered amazing views over the city and bay, creating the perfect backdrop for sunset watching. The extensive buffet breakfast included a good selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes available until 11 AM The hotel’s proximity to the train station made it convenient for exploring the area and beyond.

Oh, the seafood! Terrae and Alium nailed it with their fresh catches—it’s a foodie's dream! Plus, the spacious family room had us feeling right at home. The friendly staff made us feel welcome without a hitch!

Unfortunately, I faced quite a few challenges during my stay at Oca Ipanema Hotel. The traffic noise was incredibly loud, making it hard to find peace and relax at any point. Additionally, the thin walls allowed me to hear every sound from neighboring rooms, and it affected the quality of my sleep considerably. It was disheartening that the breakfast options at the nearby cafeteria were so disappointing, as I was hoping for a delightful start to my mornings.

The twin room was clean and spacious, perfect for our stay. The beds were super comfy, and we really enjoyed the nice shower. Also, the view from the balcony was a plus. watching the cityscape at night was awesome. One highlight was the room's division, which gave us some extra privacy. Just a heads up, the AC was a bit loud, and the breakfast could have been better on the first day.
